Acceptance
By using SoundBudget, you agree to these terms and the applicable Apple Media Services Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
License and Purchase
SoundBudget is a paid app available through the App Store. Payment before download grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, subject to App Store rules.
The app contains no subscription or additional in-app purchases.
Purpose of the App
SoundBudget presents informational sound-exposure estimates using a reference based on WHO/ITU guidance: 80 dB(A) for 40 hours over a rolling seven-day period.
Headphones and the environment remain separate. The result is not a combined health score.
Not Medical Care
SoundBudget is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, disease prevention, or individualized medical advice. It does not replace a hearing examination, professional care, manufacturer instructions, or Apple system alerts.
Seek qualified professional help for pain, sudden hearing changes, or other concerns.
Data Availability and Accuracy
Results depend on Apple devices, permissions, device use, system measurements, and data availability in Apple Health. Data may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate.
Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, Apple Watch complications, and Smart Stack show a locally cached summary. Background delivery and WidgetKit timing are controlled by Apple systems, so these surfaces may be delayed or marked as outdated. They are not live sound monitors.
A missing measurement does not mean low exposure or silence. Do not rely on SoundBudget as an emergency-warning service.
Responsible Use
You use the app at your own discretion. When evaluating noise, consider your circumstances, Apple system alerts, and recommendations from qualified professionals.
Intellectual Property
The app, its design, text, and software are protected by applicable rights. Except for permitted use, you may not copy, redistribute, rent, or attempt to derive its source code without authorization.
Availability and Changes
We may modify, correct, or discontinue functions when necessary for safety, compliance, or operation. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of every function on every device or system version.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided without a guarantee that data will always be complete, current, or suitable for a particular purpose.
Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic without affecting mandatory consumer rights under the law of the consumer's country of residence.
